I has been a long time since my last cement piece. It was very enjoyable to work in this medium again. Using rapid set cement, I slowly built the sculpture by mixing a little at a time and adding it to what I had already done. I worked with one color at a time, covering completed areas with Play-Doh to prevent them from getting covered in another color. Once all three parts were complete, I washed away the the Play-Doh to reveal the completed sculpture. It is a very different process than working with wood, and one I like to revisit from time to time.
