Seed is my first bronze casting. I had been interested to see how a piece originally done in wood would translate as a bronze. Predictably, it doesn't feel as organic but the metal brings a sense of permanence and strength. I am happy with the result and excited to venture further into the world of bronze.
The casting was done by Firebird Bronze, which is located in Troutdale, Oregon. They have a really interesting website if you are interested in learning more about the process.
